Alternatively, you could get a bicycle if your location is not so far from the university. To do that, you only need some initial investment and the rest of the journey is free. You can enjoy cycling and chances are it may be quicker than the bus.

7. Make use of your student card

8. Cut down your boozy nights

Going for a boozy night is popular among student. Such activities may be fun but are not good for your health. Not only it will blow your remaining money, the hangover may cause problem like bouts of memory loss.
Frequent boozy sessions will drain on your finances. Alternatively consider stay in with friends for a cheaper night. A bottle of wine from an off license will cost you the same as a glass in the pub.
